I personally like the anime better myself, but not for that kind of reason(I had the manga way before I saw the anime.). I liked the fact that the anime version gave the other characters more background story. The manga was more like "The Ichigo Show!" The only thing about the anime that I wish was like the manga was the fact that it was the other girls and not Ichigo that used the Mew Aqua.

I liked the fact that the anime version gave the other characters more background story. The manga was more like "The Ichigo Show!" The only thing about the anime that I wish was like the manga was the fact that it was the other girls and not Ichigo that used the Mew Aqua. Still, no matter how much you looked at it, Ichigo seemed to get the most attention(until Berrii came along, than Ichigo pretty much was thrown into the trash...) Also in the manga, it wasn't 'Ichigo had animal DNA, and than some other girls randomly had animal DNA!' In the manga they tried to put multiple animal DNA in some other animal who wasn't any of the mews, and than all the girls got in the way of the animal and all got animal DNA in them. I'd actually prefer the manga to be like the anime, but still be a manga (I like reading because everybody can imagine the story differently, but I like the anime because 1. It's animated for you X3 2. The story line is changed. I wish they kept the anime a bit closer to the manga though. SO MANY FILLERS!!!)

Actually the manga was inconsistant about that. Ryou said that to Ichigo(the DNA injection being an accident) but in vol. 6, during the flashback on Ryou injecting himself and turning into a cat, they have him and Keiichiro talking about using it on the girls intentionally.
I personally don't mind an anime version being changed due to the fact that if it was exactly the same as the manga, I wouldn't have interest in it since I've already read it XD. As long as the original meaning is intact, I'm fine with it.

No, it's not the reason. Although I did see the anime first, it's not the reason I like it better.

I own a special edition of the second manga volume. It has a glittery title, and I have no clue how hard or easy it is to find one like that. I got volume one coming in the mail, and I got most of the episodes on my computer and nearly all the soundtrack and music on my iPod. Also, I really, REALLY want to find the Power Pendant toy, and if anyone sees that is a place the ships to the U.S. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Ichigo signing off for now! Nyaa~!

Just to let you guys know, I bought some Italian Mew Mew merchandise (mostly magazines and such) and will be posting up scans soon. The seller on Ebay has more items such as Mew Mew stickers and coloring books on his ebay account. If you bid on multiple items, there will be a shipping discount. All 7 items I bought + shipping cost about $40 but it depends on the item but if you win 6 items, you get to have a choice of free stickers. Here's the sellers item list: www.ebay.com/sch/sakuretta94/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

- Full Mew Ichigo Cosplay
- Strawberry Bell weapon toy
- Berry Rod weapon toy (sadly the crown part wasn't included when I bought it and I didn't realise...)
- Figurines of the main 5 Mews

- A Mew Ichigo necklace
- I used to have the first volume of the Australian MMP DVDs but I've lost it now ;~;
I really want the two volumes of A La Mode in English too, but I haven't been able to find any yet... Sigh.

Let's see here... (looks through Mew Mew stuff). Right now I currently have (Note - this does not include fanmade merchandise):
Home Video Releases: Tokyo Mew Mew DVDs 1-10 (Official Japanese release. Contains all 52 episodes and Extras.) Mew Mew Power DVDs 1-6 (Official English dub release from South Africa. Mainly because it was the only country to release all 26 episodes on DVD.) Mew Mew Power DVDs 1 & 2 from Australia (since that's all they released) Mew Mew Amiche Vincenti DVD 5 (Episodes 13-15) Mew Mew Power French DVD Vol. 1 (The only DVD of season 1 to be released. Contains episodes 1-8.) Mew Mew Power Season 2 French Boxset 1 (Episodes 27-39) Mew Mew Power Season 2 French Boxset 2 (Episodes 40-52) Dung Ging Miu Miu (Cantonese) VCD Boxsets 1 & 2 (contains all 52 episodes) Berry Berry Mew Mew (Korean) VHS 1-4 (Containing the first 8 episodes. They never released their dub on DVD.) Druzina Mjau - Miau (Serbian) DVD Vols. 1-4 (contains episodes 1-21) Mew Mew Power Greek DVD Vol. 1 (contains episodes 1-4)
Toys and Games: StrawBell Bell Mini StrawBell Bell PuRing Ring Mew Aqua Rod Keychains of all 5 girls (Official; not the bootlegged ones sold on Ebay XD.) Mini Keiichiro finger toy Mew Mint figure Mew Lettuce figure Tokyo Mew Mew Playstation game (includes mini Ichigo figure, Ringo's character CD and game guide) Berry Berry Mew Mew CD-Rom game TMM trading card starter deck
Other official goods: Tokyo Mew Mew Manga Tokyopop translation (all volumes including A la Mode) Tokyo Mew Mew Manga Kodansha translation (Omnibuses 1-3, currently waiting for A la Mode's release in January) Tokyo Mew Mew Manga Chuang Yi translation (Vol. 1-7, they never did an English translation for A la Mode.) TMM Children's books (1, 2 & 5) Satoshi Ishino's Works (3 books containing art and notes from episodes 10, 17, 26 and has various sketches of the characters) Douga from the Ichigo/Aoyama scene from episode 21 Official script from episode 26
And that's it for official merchandise. I also have fanmade stuff too, including a Masha plush (a gift from Minto's current VA for TMM in a Nutshell X3), 3 non-hentai doujinshi (those were really hard to find XD) and various stuff from Etsy. Also not included in the list is the other various dubs I've collected. Since most dubs never had a DVD release, I had to search for and/or make deals with people who recorded them.

*insert your collection post here xD cut out to make shorter* I LOVE how dedicated you are to finding the various languages/dubs for the show! I'm currently trying to do that for a cartoon that has a very small fanbase called Redakai. It's a treat every time I find episodes in a new language because I feel like the characters are different every time!! It's like Christmas morning for a younger me! C: I recently struck gold with the Spanish episodes which is odd because I thought that would be easier to find. Have you ever thought of doing a collection video for your Tokyo Mew Mew merchandise? I have an old(ish) one that I uploaded in 2013 on YouTube. I think I might have to do a new one soon~! As for Dougas and sketches. I was wondering if you had any experience with them? I'm pretty sure not all of them are considered dougas though. I feel that dougas are more clear and on white paper. Some of the sketches I have are on yellow and pink paper. I think they might have been rough drawings to make the dougas but I'm not entirely sure. And I was wondering if you could help me pinpoint the episodes to some of them? I believe I have about 30 or 40 of these~! Most are in chunks from the same episodes. I have a scheduled video for YouTube that will show my collection of animation sketches/cels and some are in there. I also have a link to my Production Artwork site to rubberslug under my icon. I can't figure out which episode Ichigo is in the sketch that is currently on there but I want to say it's the one with the cherry tree. My favourite type of merchandise has got to be the Mew's weapons and the Mew Mew Amiche Vincenti dolls from Italy. Especially in their Mew forms. They are so cartoony and pretty!!

The ones on the colored paper are rough sketches of the scenes and the white paper is the final version. Sorry for taking so long to answer. Not many people comment on the forums and for some reason, I didn't see this updated until now XD.
Also, I can add both Mandarin VCD Boxsets to my collection (I'm posting episodes on my MewMewInternational account right now.). I'll also make an updated video of my room and collection.

Sheesh. People should really post here more, so I can have reason check here daily XD. I just bought some official stuff from Italy. They haven't arrived yet but here's a picture: oi61.tinypic.com/fubbdh.jpgThe only reason I bought this... It's the only country to release a Kei-kun figurine!!!!!! X3 There are also some small figures that I bought but those will be saved as prizes for those who find me at Anime Expo this July.

I say "had" because at one time I had all those things, plus a lot more. But one day, about three years ago, my house had caught on fire (all thanks to my pyro neighbor). All those, and more, were lost. The only TMM thing that was salvageable was Mint's bow and arrow, but that was extremely melted and didn't really look like anything, so I threw that away. It's been three years and I've tried to get these things again, but I can't find them at a reasonable price.
